In college, Carolyn was part of a student organization called Enactus (previously SIFE). She started a project with two of her college besties, partnering with this fair trade organization to improve the lives of these woman and their children. She traveled to Guatemala and taught the woman how to make earrings as well as some simple product development skills, marketing, and supply chain, in hopes of sending as much money back to the woman as possible. Since 2007, that same organization at Syracuse University has helped provide over 240 scholarships for young girls. Our hope is to continue this legacy and provide these woman with the tools they need to succeed and break their poverty cycle.
